Number of Adults Visible: 2
Number of Nestlings Visible: 0
Number of Fledglings Visible: 0
Weather Conditions: high 60s, breezy, sun a few high clouds
Other Activity: Arrive expecting to find female on nest as previously but she was perched below platform and male was on post perch eating. After ten minutes or so male left flying low to south. Female waited a couple of minutes and then flew to marsh under post perch to check for any food left by male. Finding none, she moved on to post perch. Several minutes latter male appeared and joined female on post and commenced to preen. Pair spent a few minute together and then female left to perch on platform briefly before heading north and fishing the Parker River with no luck; so climbed higher and moved south. Male left on post still preening. Not sure if this means there is no egg to incubate? Previous 4-5 days have seen temperatures in the 90s.
