133 Essex Street/Chebacco Lake Conservation Project in Hamilton

Greenbelt is currently working to permanently protect 66 acres of ecologically significant land at 133 Essex Street in Hamilton. Located adjacent to Chebacco Woods, the property features mature forestland, dramatic rocky outcrops, vernal pools, and prominent working farmland along both Route 22 (Essex Street) and Chebacco Road. An established trail network on the property connects directly to the trails in Chebacco Woods, a popular year-round destination for outdoor recreation.

Streeter Conservation Project in Wenham

Greenbelt is working to permanently protect approximately 125 acres of forest, farmland, wetlands, and trails in Wenham. Together, these natural resources provide vital wildlife habitat and help safeguard a public drinking water supply that serves nearly 90,000 people. The project will also open a scenic trail system for public use for the first time.
