For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Adult eating, 2 nestlings perched, other lied down. Other adult down on ground. Adult on nest left and returned with nesting material a couple times. One nestling spread its wings and did a small hop. All nestlings eventually lied down.

Other Activity: One adult OSPR perched on lower rung of tower; one fledgling feeding itself in the nest; another fledgling flew in, perched for awhile, then flew up the river and perched on the next tower; the fledgling in the nest flapped its wings a lot but seemed to be unable to lift off.
