For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: First osprey was settled deep in the nest, other osprey returned to nest with food, then 1st bird came up to greet him. My guess is that she is incubating egg(s) but I can't be sure.

Other Activity: Female was down deep into the nest, male arrived 25 minutes later with a very small catch. The female took it and flew down to a crossbar to eat it and the male settled in on the nest.
