Other Activity: female osprey perched on nest on platform 1, male on platform 3, a third osprey, a larger female, approached the nest and the resident female flew to challenge it. All three flew in circles around the area for about 15 minutes before the intruder flew off and the resident female returned to the nest. The resident male flew to join her and mated with her and then flew off to perch on platform 2. There has been very little nest-building and frequent mating by the residents. Looks like a housekeeping pair with frequent challenges by the same large female.
