For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: One adult on marsh perch. Nestling/fledgling perched up on side of nest.

Other Activity: One fledgling perched on nest. It took flight as I approached and flew into the nearby treeline where it joined the 2nd fledgling who was already perched in the tree.

Other Activity: 1 bird etched on daddy pole, pretty sturdy-looking, so I THINK it’s an adult just hanging out, which means young are fully fledged. But could be a juv up there…..
