For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: More activity at the nest. Pauline is standing up and poking downward. Bob is flying in with moist sea grass and they both are working together on the nest material.

General Comments: Due to Pauline’s downward head movements, my guess is at least 2 little ones.

Other Activity: Big action at the nest. Pauline and Bob were standing in the nest with their wings gently flapping. They were both looking down at the nest. Bob then began flying in fresh sticks and they both worked together to place them. Finally she settled back down when he flew away. Possible an egg hatched?
