For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: We are departing for 1 month. At this point, all seems to be advancing as expected in this nest. Nestlings still seem several weeks from fledging.

Other Activity: Male perched on side of nest with one nestling....the other may be laying down. Nestling got up and wiggled back to the edge of the nest to do its business. I did see an Osprey flying down the river when approaching ...maybe the female going for some breakfast.
