For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Adult perched on pole. One nestling perched, the other reclined below. Later the reclined one arose and began flapping enough to cross the platform and did this several times. The perched one stayed perched. Then the adult left and the flapping stopped.

Other Activity: She spent almost half-hour popping her head up and down into the nest with food in her mouth. At one point she seemed to have a large bloody fish. If it wasn't so late on the season, I would have though that she was feeding chicks or fledglings

General Comments: I may be reading too much into this but this fledgling seems to be struggling. Constant vocalizing, begging. Breast looks concave. We'll keep monitoring
