Where are Osprey Nesting?
For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Both Osprey perched on nest. One adult left nest and circled in flight for several minutes. Went down behind trees and returned to nest with food. Could not confirm if it was a fish or another creature.

Other Activity: Two adult osprey visible in nest. One perched on edge. The other was down in nest and then raised its head and was visible. Neither bird left the nest but the one perched and fully visible raised and lowered its wings multiple times.
Observation Method: On foot with binoculars at Independence park by Jetty.
