Number of Fledglings Visible:

Weather Conditions: 74 degrees, cloudy, allegedly 18 mph wind

Other Activity: When i arrived one Osprey was on the nest. Eventually, the second Osprey (the male) returned to the area and landed on the pole to the right. There was a juvenile eagle flying over near the river, who eventually flew in closer, did a couple laps around the area, and flew very close to the nest. The male Osprey had flown over to the nest and was standing on the edge, made a couple calls, but never spread his wings or got really vocal. Eventually the eagle left the area, the male left and returned 15 or so minutes later with a fish. He ate the fish, brought some back to the female in the nest, and she flew to the pole to the left to eat.

Other Activity: Saw what appeared to be a juvenile eagle flying around nest area and swooping down toward nest. Ran to get a closer view and found fellow monitor, Sarah, there. She had also seen the eagle. Both ospreys were on nest. There had been a few alarm calls but not much of a fuss. Male eventually left and brought back a fish to pole and then nest. Both were standing in nest leading me to believe they may have had a hatching? She did eventually leave with fish,,though.
