For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: female perched on marsh perch and flew up to nest perch. Male flew in seconds later and mated with her. I think that the eggs she was incubating must have failed....

Other Activity: female and nestling are sitting on the nest..nestling is on the other side of nest which I could not see from my usual spot...found it tucked in a corner panting.

Other Activity: I do not see either parents and the nest is really increasing to the point that unless the nestling are on its edge I can not see them .I know it is active.
