For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 68, calm, few high clouds

Other Activity: Arrived to find one adult [female?] standing on rim of nest. Could not see if any activity in nest[too deep]. After 5 mins adult left to fly up Parker River. Replaced by other adult who had been perched on post nearby. Again no specific attention by adult to anything in nest. Female returns to nest. Male leaves flying low to South. Female resumes standing on nest rim actively scanning sky. Have eggs hatched ? Are there nestlings? Will return to check in 3 days.
