For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Male perched nearby. Female, now returned, feeding self and chick.

General Comments: Clearly second chick seen earlier in the season is no longer present.

General Comments: We have been away for 10 days. Several days prior to departure, there were clearly 2 chicks. Now there is obviously only one. One adult was present during observation time. Seemed like it might be the male. Was perched nearby, then joined chick on nest, and then returned to off-nest nearby location.
