For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: female in nest with male sitting in marsh approximately 50 yards to the west. female soon joined male shortly after initial observation.

Other Activity: Saw 1 osprey flying over the Parker River, as if possibly looking for a fish. It did not alight on the platform.

Observation Method: In my car and on foot with binoculars.

General Comments: The nesting material on the platform looks to be at the same level as during my last observation and the same as last year.
