For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Observation Method: Pulled into UPS Facility and parked at rear. (Northeast corner. Stood on short ladder with scope to try to confirm nestlings.

Observation Method: Walked to edge of Saugus River having parked at Rt. 107 pull off area. Accessed via cut in fence. Used scope and binoculars.

Other Activity: Both adults perched on nest. One nestling popped up briefly then dropped down. Male left, female remained perched. Something kept fluttering just below her, could have been another nestling.

Other Activity: Female on nest/male on perch. Both appear to be eating. Female flew about and then landed on perch - on top of male. Moments later, dropped down to the side of perch and stayed for the duration of the observation.

Observation Method: Walked through park to edge of marsh. Observation via scope and binoculars.

Other Activity: Female on nest with a large amount of wing flapped. Looked like she was trying to get settled. Personal assumption is that there are nestlings in the mix with the nest.

Observation Method: Walked to the far-rear of parking area. Moved the left and back a bit along the concrete blocks and stood on top for better viewing
