Where are Osprey Nesting?
For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Annie on nest and "rooting" around in it with her beak (doing some housekeeping?) Older chick looks like it has some pin feathers now; younger chick somewhat difficult to observe as Annie was shielding it from the sun.

Other Activity: The osprey on the nest just seemed content to sit still in the nest. He or she did not move much and there were no other osprey visible. The bird did look at its surroundings and then down into the nest during the observation time.
