Number of Fledglings Visible:

Weather Conditions: 64-72, light wind, mostly sunny

Other Activity: From the tree nest at Round, we could see an osprey perched on the post at Babson. As we got closer, we saw it eating an fish. As we got even closer, it flew off with the fish, and almost immediately another adult flew into the nest. The one with the fish then returned to the post. A third osprey then approached and tried to land in the nest. It was chased up and away by the osprey in the nest. It then circled a bit and flew over Choate Island, calling out as it went. I haven't observed anyone incubating here for a couple of weeks, I believe.
