For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: From our distance and angle there appears to be two adult ospreys and one fledgling osprey in the nest.The fledgling appears to be testing its wings.

Other Activity: Male perched below on crossbeam. Female and 3 young perched on nest. One young left carrying debris, another flapped enough to get a couple of feet above the nest. The third did some wing stretching. The fledgling that had left returned 10 minutes later.

Other Activity: One adult on nest with smallest of the young. Other adult down on the rocks. One fledgling flew in with a fish, the other fledgling left. The one with the fish ate it and then also left. The adult on the nest flew down to the rocks with the other adult. The nest was empty. All three young have fledged.

Other Activity: Both male and female osprey were at the nest or nearbyOne of them left to feed and was circling and perching in a tree across the marsh down river while the other stayed perched on the side of the nest The one chic was in the nest I could see a head peeking up
