Weather Conditions: Mostly cloudy with occasional sun between clouds. Almost no wind. Temp. warm but didn't get real temp. Est. mid-50's.
Other Activity: One osprey, often looking down on nest, on snag branch above & to left of nest. Preening. Occasional white head, and once a black tail, popping up within nest, visible to observer. After about 20 minutes, osprey on snag flew down onto nest. Briefly both were in nest & then one flew away. Likely they were "spelling" each other but I could not tell for certain which one flew away. Could still see occasional white head above top of nest edge. No other activity. Then other osprey came back & perched on a different snag branch to the right of the nest. Stayed for about 5 minutes & flew off again. Only activity was brief popping up of white head. That's all, folks.
