For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: One perched the other on the nest. This pair seems to enjoy going back and forth from GLO-03 to GLO-02. GLO-03 was their original site and no fledglings were produced. Will be interesting to see if they occupy GLO-03 again next year or find their second home GLO-02 more suitable

General Comments: reported by Robert Buchsbaum, who paddled by this nest and observed one fledgling, which makes sense since I was there about a week earlier and had a territorial female but never saw fledgling, who must have been nearby but off the nest.
