For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Single female nesting on 3' high "nest" approx. 1/8 mile to the NW of the platform. Single male observed inflight over the general area and perched on platform's ground mounted perch. Third assumed male flew in and grabbed a fish and then flew off toward the Rt. 60/Rt.107 traffic circle. Original male flow around the marsh area again - as if the move this last male away from the platform and secondary nesting location.

Observation Method: Walked to the end of the marsh via pathway through Jacobs Park.

General Comments: I will bring my scope out to this location on my return trip to this location to check on this secondary nest.

General Comments: Someone erected a platform at the rear of the HS construction site. Very rudimentary. No activity observed.
