For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Weather Conditions: Warm. Windy. Partly cloudy.
Other Activity: Observed one bird obviously incubating, but she was restless. The other bird was working on nest-buildind and had a big stick he was working into the rim of the nest. They both sat close together for a little while, looking into the nest (there must be chicks in there), then they switched incubating duties and she flew off.
Observation Method: On foot from the beach at independence park.
