For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: 1 Osprey perched on the perch next to the nest. 1 Osprey soared over and around the nest. Osprey left the perch, joined the other Osprey in flight and soared off together over the trees to the left of the nest. A beautiful doe on the marsh.

Weather Conditions: 83 degrees, sunny, hot, few wispy clouds, light breeze, low tide
Other Activity: 1 Osprey on nest shading chicks from the sun. There are 2 Ospreys that stay perched on 2 posts of a three post fence, further out on the marsh, to the right. The Osprey on the nest chirps, stands as Osprey mate with fish perches on perch to the left of nest. Nest Osprey sounds alarms, flaps wings as another Osprey soars around the nest a few times & continues to fly off over to the trees. Osprey mate on perch delivers fish to nest. The Osprey family is on the nest, chicks are being fed. Several deer are out on the marsh.
