For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: one adult perched in nest second adult on rock below the nest and appeared to be feeding

Observation Method: on foot from Forest River Park

General Comments: I was at this sight on 3/29 walking my dog and there was a single adult perched on the nest. I actually didn't go there with the expectation of seeing an osprey. I was observing the sea ducks and several loons.
