The nest pair vigorously flapped their wings and the intruder pair flew off towards Ipswich. The nest pair stayed on watch for about 15 minutes when the intruder pair returned for round two of osprey wars. The nest pair again successfully defended their platform. When the coast was clear, the male of the nest pair began vigorously hauling in sticks and arranging them in the nest. The nest pair then attempted to mate.
