For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 73 degrees, breezy, sunny/cloudy, high tide - creeks filled. A beautiful day.....
Other Activity: Male Osprey perched on the bedraggled nest. Good to see him and hear his chirps. At 2:20, he flew. There were 2 other Ospreys perched on the snags, by the houses across the creek.

Other Activity: no birds at nest, two Osprey perched on driftwood east of platform at the smaller rectangular platform west of that: one bird perched beside the nest at the larger platform west of that, with vegetation on top: two adults at side of nest, one of them feeding itself; there possibly was activity inside the nest, couldn't tell for sure

Other Activity: 1) Bill Forward platform: one adult perched at nest, occasionally looks down into nest and pokes around there; male flew in and dropped off what looked like vegetation material, then flew over to the post perch 2) platform directly across river: one bird at the nest (can't tell if it's beside or in), second bird down in the grasses 3) platform south of that, on an open rectangular structure: two adults at side of nest, possibly another bird down in the nest 4) nest on platform south of that on closed structure is complete empty, no sign of Osprey in area
