Other Activity: a female osprey was perched on the platform and calling with a begging cry. A male osprey was flying nearby and circled the platform several times, but did not try to land. The female continued to call plaintively as the male flew away up river. Immediately after that a female osprey flew toward the platform and the perched female rose in the air to challenge it. After a few times chasing the intruder in the air the around the platform the intruder landed on the lower perch below the platform and the original female landed on the platform for a few seconds and then attacked the intruder again and chased her away. After the chase neither of the females returned to the platform.

Observation Method: from rail trail

General Comments: There is no sign of any nest building on the platform. I got Dave's email about the drop down date and I cannot find a dropdown date option on the form. Am I doing something wrong?
