Join Greenbelt and West Newbury Wild & Native to learn about Dark Skies and view glow-in-the-dark murals with public artist Jenn Houle

Jenn will speak about her collaborative project with Greenbelt that aims to promote Dark Skies as crucial habitat for migratory birds, residential wildlife and human health. You will be able to enjoy one of her glowing murals as darkness falls!

West Newbury Wild & Native will share more about night ecology and simple initiatives to create a Dark Skies friendly landscape at home and in your community.

Finally, you'll learn how to complete Globe at Night citizen science reading to help measure light pollution in Essex County--contributing data to an international database used by scientists around the world!

BONUS! Take home native seeds, a Dark Skies zine & stickers featuring mural artwork.

The Special Project Grant is provided by the Creative County Initiative (CCI) of the Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF)
