For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Female and male perched on side of nest. Female was bending down into the nest fairly often to start. The male took off after awhile and two other adult osprey showed up and circled overhead. The female called and the male returned and circled with the other two who eventually took off and the male returned to the nest. I did not see him bring any food in but think they had food when I arrived and were possibly feeding the chicks but it is hard to see.
