Other Activity: Confusing! What I thought was an adult perched on one edge and stayed there entire time. Could see 2 young, then one of them got on edge and was flapping its wings and from that distance looked about as big as the parent (!). It went back into nest and adult came and I think it left food behind but it didn't feed chicks. One that was perched on edge whole time starting eating something that seemed to already be there, and then it looked like it was feeding the chick I thought was so big.

General Comments: One adult osprey perched on the edge of the nest and kept dipping its head into and out of the nest. Due to the low angle and distance to the nest we are unable to observe inside the nest. At 1:27 PM a second adult osprey arrived and perched on top of the nest's transmission tower. AT 1:30 PM the adult osprey located on the nest departed and perched on top of the transmission tower that did not have a nest. At 1:32 PM this adult osprey departed the vacant transmission tower and flew up the North River. At 1:34PM this adult osprey returned to the nest and perched itself on the rim of the nest.
