For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: Heavy winds make observation difficult.

Other Activity: One osprey low on the nest. Stood up and alerted when something big flew by. I missed what it was. Then settled back done.

Other Activity: female on nest, she brought in sticks and this is the second time I have seen her do it, while the male sat there on the marsh perch. She was not gone long and placed a huge stick on the outside of the nests edge. Both babies poked their heads up watching her. Exciting!
