For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: One adult feeding chick and 3 chicks visible. flies off. 7 minutes later adults arrive almost simultaneously each with a fish in its talons. Then one flies to top of lamppost nearby, but isn't eating its fish. Adult on nest is neither feeding young nor itself. Chicks too full?? There must be plenty of fish!

General Comments: There were no osprey visible on GLO3 at 4:15. I did notice form this location that GLO2 had two osprey as noted in the GLO2 report. I have yet observed osprey on both GLO2 or 3 at the same time but I do see osprey occupying one or the other.
