For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Annie still on nest post with one chick; the stronger one who flew off after banding hasn't returned to nest yet. I haven't watched since the chick was banded, so it may have returned once and then flew off again.

Other Activity: There were 3 birds on the nest and, although it was hard to tell, I think they were chicks. One of them was feeding himself. There was one perched in the tree nearby and it was likely Ollie or Olivia. The chicks are so big that it is often hard to tell them from mom & dad. They are flying all over the neighborhood now.
