For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: I've been checking in throughout the day today and have noted a few times when there is no adult on the nest. I'm having difficulty seeing 3 eggs; mostly I note 2. Isn't it unusual for there to be no bird on the nest incubating the eggs, once they have been laid and the adults have begun to incubate?
