For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Osprey hunkered down in the nest incubating posture. At 10:30 AM, 2nd Osprey flying with a fish near the nest area - followed/chased by the 3rd Osprey. At 10:40 a fish delivery to the nest. Both Osprey are seen on the nest, then the one delivering fish takes off with part of the fish. Nesting Osprey settles back down in the nest.
Observation Method: On foot, down the grassy/rocky path, where it meets the marsh.
