For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: one bird on nest, incubating; second bird flew in with small fish, deposited it on edge of platform; the two interacted a bit, then first bird flew with the fish over to the post perch and began feeding itself - so I feel that means no hatchlings yet, or they would have been fed

General Comments: Female in nest, male perched on marsh. He flew in and the Female did a quick switch with the male and brought some grass in with her after she sat in a near by tree for a few moments.

General Comments: I am still not seeing any activity in the original nest for the last two weeks anyway. Early April there was some activity, with at least one opsrey...but like you said Dave, they maay have been unsuccessful with a new female. I will check again tomorrow.
