For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Female on nest, but seemingly feeding possible nestlings tucked inside. Male on same cross bar as the nest on the transmission tower.
Observation Method: Found a better location for viewing this platform from Gibson point while observing SAU-10. Using scope.
General Comments: This location is far superior than where I have been viewing from via the UPS distribution center. From the UPS location, you're basically looking up at the nest and through powerlines. This new location is far superior as you're nearly at high level with the nest. It's still a long way off and only a scope can really grab this platform well. But very happy to get a much clearer observation from this location!
