For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: The two chicks put on a show for us by stretching their wings, perching on the side of the nest and jumping back into the nest all under Mom's watchful eye. Today confirmed two chicks. Now to watch them fly!

General Comments: apologies for not reporting more often. The nest is doing well, and chicks were growing. have watched it daily without reporting.

General Comments: Saw neat activity for real n sometimes looks like a mirage, but can confirm nestling(s). Mom was perched above, male on his own perch, and lots of wing movement in the nest. She is back in the nest now and he’s on the far perch on duty.
