Other Activity: One osprey was perched on the nest while another was perched in a tree nearby. The one on the nest flew off for a little bit, then returned. Then the other one came and perched on the tree below the nest. Then they both flew off. The entire time I heard an osprey vocalizing, but it didn't look like either of the rwo ospreys I observed were making the noise. So it is possible rhere was a 3rd osprey in the area.
Observation Method: On foot with slotting scope.

Weather Conditions: 80 degrees, milky sky, strong breeze low tide.
Other Activity: male came in with a fish and flew up to the nest, quickly turned to settle on the marsh perch in #1. She flew out of the nest and I thought at first that maybe the nest failed but she immediately went right back on....maybe male did not give her enough fish and she was scolding him. A third osprey came into the picture, as he circled in the sky...hopefully checking out #1 nest. He landed a fish and perched on a flag pole near the train tracks. As the train flew by, he just stayed there. Gutsy bird!
