Where are Osprey Nesting?

For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: One of the dayboards was lost last year and the nest is very small. May not be enough for nesting.

General Comments: This is a new platform installed - this past March. No activity noted.

Other Activity: Do the construction of the Revere High School, this platform has been removed. They have taken down the light tower where the long-standing nest has been observed.

Observation Method: Drive-by. Drove around the rotary to double check if the tower was still in place.

General Comments: Unfortunately, this will be the last report from this platform due to the removal of the light stanchion.
