For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Olivia was on the nest and I could see one chick. Then I heard loud chirping and saw Olivia chasing a visitor. We've been away for more than a week and the chick has really grown. I'm still seeing only one chick.

Other Activity: Single osprey on nest but went airborne as I approached. Went back to the nest as I left the creek.

Other Activity: Single osprey perched on nest. 2nd osprey arrived with a fish and the nestlings finally became visible to me. There were at least 2 and they were bigger than I expected.
