General Comments: Lone Osprey alternated between standing on edge of nest and sitting low inside the nest. The osprey’s head was bobbing and may have been tending to something on the nest floor . It was not feeding itself or others so possibly there are sterile eggs in the nest but I cannot verify that is the case.

Number of Fledglings Visible: 2
Weather Conditions: Fog, 75, no wind. Very calm.
Other Activity: I began observing when one adult and one nestling were in the nest. Adult flew off and the nestling stayed but flapped wi gs a bit. One of the babies fledged yesterday. That one came back, and the adult was perched on a high mast nearby. The 1st fledgling flew off again, then 2nd fledgling (finally... maybe for the first time!) Flew cautiously to a nearby boat. I didn't have time to see how it gets back up to the nest! The other adult could be heard calling in the distance, and adult #1 was flying around, keeping an eye on the kids.
Observation Method: On foot with binoculars
