For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: No osprey visible in nearby white pine trees or on the nest platform.

Observation Method: In a vehicle or standing on the bank of the Parker River.

General Comments: There is no evidence of any nest-building on the platform.

General Comments: Annie rearranging soft material in the nest; Squam on nest pole. Annie flew off and returned shortly with more small material and continued rearranging.

Other Activity: Single adult observed in nest and appeared to be doing a little tidying up inside the nest. It never really settled down but remained in nest. I did not observe the mate

Other Activity: Two visible. One sitting quietly in the nest, the second osprey on nest rim. The osprey on rim flew shortly after observation began to return 5 minutes later and perched in nearby tree. No other activity observed

Other Activity: Female sitting tall on the nest perch.

Observation Method: On foot with binoculars.

General Comments: Male was not visible during any of the observation time.
