Other Activity: This will be a report for both the nests one and two. I was there for approx. one hour waiting to see if the situation has changed....both females are crying, #2 platform more frequently and #1 is responding. The male flew from the marsh perch up to platform #1, stayed a few moments and went over to mate with female. He flew off and hopefully will come back with a fish....strange behavior.

Other Activity: I first observed the single bird sitting on the next, again I think she's incubating. Then the other bird came back and they greeted each other. He flew off again and attempted to grab a fish but came up empty. As he was flying back, she started calling loudly - a 3rd bird was flying around the nest. I wonder if it was a fledgling from last year... So he stayed on the nest until the other bird was out of range and then flew off to get a (late) dinner.
Observation Method: On foot from the jetty at Independence Park.
