General Comments: the one adult observed was flying and landed on the nest, flew again, landed again. Observed from the nearest bend of Laws Creek it definitely appeared to be the male because no necklace was visible although it was facing me when it landed and I was using 10 power binoculars. Seems odd because there was an egg in the nest a week ago, but his pair has been unusually active with usually both flying over the nest during observation and only occasionally landing, even when the initial observation is from a greater distance than causes any other local ospreys to leave their nest or adjacent perch.
