For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: The female osprey was perched in the nest with her wings held out slightly, calling repeatedly. The male was on the nearby post with a fish, and seemed to be working on it a bit. He never delivered the fish to the nest while we observed.

Other Activity: Osprey perched on the nest perch. There does not appear to be any additional nest material on the platform, and no other osprey was observed nearby.

Other Activity: The female was perched/sitting in the nest and periodically 1 little head and neck would extend up. The female would also lean down towards the nestling, but no food was visible.

General Comments: 2 osprey sitting on the other nest platform #2 . One is sitting upright inside nest and other one is perched on the stick on the platform. At the Tower nest theres an osprey inside.. Its mate was perched nearby on a large piece of driftwood

General Comments: no signs of osprey again. More difficult to see with more boats with tall masts added to line of vision but no evidence of any movement on nest. Hard to see into adjacent woods where 1 osprey used to perch on dead branch due to boats.
