For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Observed Squam on the perch beside the nest. It appears as though there is a wire (?fishing line) tangled in his right talon and caught on another twig in the nest....please investigate.

Other Activity: Male (assumed) perched on lower pylon probably eating; female not visible. 7:20pm female standing on nest, fluffing feathers, bobbing motion, male still on pylon. 7:31 male brought something to nest. He watches, she bobs. (Assumed) They were still there at 7:42. At 7:49 I could only see one perched on nest edge then he (?) was gone. Maybe perched below, I couldn't tell for sure
