For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Small craft, 2 men clamming 10 ft away, raptors don’t seem to mind

General Comments: She is eating while nesting; he is on perch eating a fish. She is very clearly sitting in nest all day into night. I’ve not seen her leave it for days.

Other Activity: Osprey was mostly sitting on nest, but a little more active than usual, Got up a couple of times to stretch. Seemed to stick her head down into the nest a few times.
