General Comments: We’ve stopped to monitor Millie & Parker & chicks (we can not see into nest) a few times over the last week and have seen her in the nest with him perched on stand in marsh as well as feeding! His wings were moving and visibly pulling a fish apart. We are not high enough to see the chicks yet or count how many are present, but are very excited they might survive this season without the eagle present!

General Comments: Thrilled to finally confirm at least one chick! At height of day around noon I observed the female standing in a way I’d never seen before and realized she was shielding the sun and there was a little head. Later I saw the male come back to nest with huge fish and was able to see the chick quite well. Much larger than I would have guessed. The nest must be deep. Very happy to see this.
