For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Observed 3 osprey flying high above the marsh; sometimes fishing, and for a very short time 2 were on the nest (one was a male), and were flying around the platform together.

General Comments: It appears as though there is more material on the platform just since yesterday.

General Comments: The debris on the nest that I saw a couple of days before seems to be gone. That's good news! Now hopefully the mate comes back.
