For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: As I arrived, there were 2 birds on the nest, it looked like they were swapping incubation duties. The one on the eggs got up and flew off, circling a bit before landing on a tree nearby. Maybe s/he just needed a rest. S/he was sitting in the tree when I left and the other was on the eggs.
Observation Method: On foot, with binocs from the street outside the power station.

General Comments: two adult OSPR perched in trees by nest on utility pole. Nest has grown in size in last 7-10 days, but based on behavior it does not seem like there are eggs, since neither adult was incubating.
