For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: female is in the nest sitting deep, the male is sitting on the marsh perch...he must have just finished a fish because the crows are at the perches base. He eventually leaves and flies over to nest #2.

General Comments: I spoke with Elenor and she did confirm to me that she has not seen four all together, just two at one time in #1 and then #2. I still believe by the way the female is acting on nest two and the male going over to her, there are only three osprey in these nests.

Other Activity: 2 coyote approached the nest. Pauline came off her nest and joined Bob in dive bombing them. They quickly left the area.
